Please use our site as a tool...our daughter,
Madison (6 years old in March 2007), has global developmental delays.
Madison received a secondary diagnosis (December
2003) of Ataxic Cerebral Palsy. We were finally given a permanent
diagnosis in September 2005, after taking her to NIH in Bethesda, MD. Madison's primary diagnosis is Cerebellum Atrophy
the atrophy is located in the superior cerebellar vermis. The atrophy has caused her to have
significant cerebellar ataxia. We still don't know which particular ataxia disease she has.
As of September 2006 her cerebellum continues to decrease in size. Making it a progressive atrophy.
We have provided information on certain aspects
of her medical journey, as well as updates, symptoms, test results and milestones. All the information provided in
the following pages are based on "OUR" experiences and what "WE'VE" been told.
We are by NO means medical professionals
(though sometimes it feels that way)...only concerned parents with many unanswered questions.
It is our hope that with our site we might
help eachother...perhaps you will learn a little or better yet have something to offer...
Thank You Scott & Liz Rabush
